The Lymphoedema Practitioners Education Group of Victoria (LPEGV) is a multidisciplinary group of health care professionals who are involved in the treatment and management of people with lymphoedema.
Health disciplines require continuing professional development and the pursuit of evidence based practice. LPEGV is committed to the provision of educational forums and workshops that support best practice amongst practitioners.
Aims:
- To raise awareness of lymphoedema amongst all health care professionals & the wider community
- To educate health care professionals in the treatment and management of lymphoedema
- To provide opportunities for continuing professional development
- To encourage research into lymphoedema and its management
Membership provides:
- Early notification of education forums
- Quarterly newsletters
- Discounted registration on education sessions
- Links with national and international organisations.
- Practitioner support/mentoring
- Regular committee meetings
